Lancer teams set to host 5 home playoff games this weekend
The Department of Athletics will host LANCER PLAYOFF PALOOZA this weekend as five Lancer teams with host playoff games at home in Windsor.
Tickets for Lancer Playoff Palooza are available all this week at the Sports Information Office inside the St. Denis Centre.
Special Playoff Palooza Pass
In addition to individual game tickets which are available for each game, the athletic department will also be selling a PALOOZA PASS good for all five Lancer home playoff games this weekend.
Palooza playoff passes are $25 for adults (5 games for $5 bucks!), senior and student passes are $20 and U of W student passes are $15.
The Lancer Women's and Men's Hockey teams, Lancer Women's and Men's Basketball teams and the Lancer Men's Volleyball team will all host critical playoff match-ups at home on Friday and Saturday.
Lancer Women's Hockey Playoff Information
For the Lancer Women's Hockey team, they advanced to the OUA Semi-Finals this week following a thrilling 3-2 double overtime victory over the York Lions in the quarter-finals last Saturday.
Game one of the series will take place in Waterloo against the Laurier Golden Hawks followed by game two back in Windsor on Saturday afternoon at 4pm at South Windsor Arena.
Tickets for the women's hockey semi-final game on Saturday in Windsor are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
Lancer Men's Hockey Playoff Information
The Lancer Men's Hockey team advanced to the OUA Quarter-Finals this week after eliminating the #7 nationally ranked Waterloo Warriors in a best of three series last weekend.
The men's hockey team will now battle the Western Mustangs in the OUA Quarter-Finals in a best of three series. Game one will take place on Wednesday night in London followed by game two back in Windsor at 7pm at Windsor Arena.
Tickets for the men's hockey quarter-final game on Friday night in Windsor are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
Lancer Men's Volleyball Playoff Information
The Lancer Men's Volleyball team wrapped up a strong regular season by clinching the #4 seed in the OUA playoffs. By doing so, they will now host the Guelph Gryphons in the OUA Quarter-FInals in a single elimination match on Saturday at 2pm at the St. Denis Centre.
Tickets for the men's volleyball quarter-final match on Saturday afternoon are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
Lancer Basketball Playoff Information
The Lancer Women's and Men's Basketball teams clinched their respective OUA West Division regular season titles and each received a bye through the OUA West quarter-finals.
They will host the OUA West Semi-Finals on Saturday night at 6pm and 8pm at the St. Denis Centre.
Tickets for the Lancer Basketball OUA West Semi-Final doubleheader on Saturday night are $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors and $5 for U of W students.
