Adam Wagner, head coach of the Windsor Lancer golf program, is pleased to announce the try-out and training camp schedule for the upcoming 2015 fall season.
  
Try-outs for both the Lancer men's and women's teams will take place on Monday August 31st through to Friday September 4th. The schedule for the week will be e-mailed to all players who register by Wednesday August 26th. 
 
Training camp will involve range sessions with the coaching staff, shot analysis and tracking using Flightscope launch monitor technology, as well as four 18-hole tournament rounds to be played at Ambassador Golf Club and Roseland Golf & Curling Club. Tee times will be determined on Wednesday August 26th after the registration deadline.
 
Cost associated with the try-outs will be $100.00 (including HST) payable to the University of Windsor.  The team will be selected on Friday September 4th and a team dinner and photos will take place. Time and location TBD.
 
"I'm excited about the upcoming season of Lancer Golf," said coach Wagner. "We've got a good group of returning players to go along with some newcomers which we think will put us in a very competitive position this fall."
 
The OUA season begins in early September and will conclude at the OUA Golf Championships hosted by the UOIT Ridgebacks on October 18th-20th at the Oshawa Golf Club.
