Three members of the CIS champion Windsor Lancers, Miah-Marie Langlois, Korissa Williams and Tessa Kreiger, have been selected to play on the Canadian Senior 'B' national women's basketball team, while head coach Chantal Vallée was named as an assistant to the team.

Langlois was the last cut at the Olympic team camp in Vancouver and joined the B team 10 days ago.

The team dropped their first game of their exhibition summer schedule, 75-58, to Montenegro.

They were led by Justine Colley (East Preston, NS), who scored 12 points in the game, while Williams chipped in with 10 points and 3 steals.

In their second game of the series, the Canadian again faced Montenegro, and again dropped a 63-53 decision to the host team. Langlois finished the game with 7 points and 2 rebounds.

There are six CIS players on the B squad which will serve as the foundation for the 2016 Rio Olympic team. The others include Ottawa's Kelly Ring, UBC'S Kristjana Young and St. Mary's Justine Coley.

The remainder of the roster is made up of players in the NCAA. Stay tuned to goLancers.ca for updates on the Lancers and the National team, as they continue their schedule against the Belgium Olympic teams.
