The Lancer Football program will host the third annual Gino Fracas Memorial Golf Tournament on June 24th at the Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor.

The annual golf outing in support of the football program is dedicated to the legacy of legendary Lancer Football head coach Gino Fracas, who passed away in 2010.

Net proceeds from the event are shared equally between the Gino Fracas Memorial Football Scholarship Fund and the Lancer Football program.
 
The Gino Fracas Memorial Football Scholarship fund honours the contributions of Coach Fracas in the development of leaders with solid ethics and character combined with scholastic and athletic achievement. The scholarship awards support returning Lancer Football student-athletes who have a passion for excellence and demonstrate Gino's leadership qualities of Desire, Discipline, Dedication and Determination.
 
“It is a fitting tribute that our annual Lancer Football Golf outing is named in Coach Fracas' honour,” commented Head Coach Joe D'Amore. “Gino meant so much to our program and to our players and alumni and this is an opportunity for us to recognize his many contributions to Lancer Football.”
