The Lancer Track & Field saw a number of fantastic performances over the weekend at three seperate meets. The Lancers competed at the Bison Open hosted by the University of Manitoba, the Meyo Invitational hosted by University of Notre Dame, and at the York Open hosted by York University.
At the Bison Open,
Aaron Bowman captured a gold medal in the 60m with a winning time of 6.90m, while
Branden Wilhelm placed first in the high jump with a CIS qualifying time of 2.11m.
The 4x200m relay team of
Chris Reid,
Brendan Dills, Tyler McLeod, and
Matt McKeegan also placed first with another CIS qualifying time of 1:27. 58.

At the Meyo Invitational, Windsor had seven CIS qualifying performances.
Capturing a bronze medal, Andy Ysebeart set a new Lancer record, and qualified for the CIS championships with a throw of 17.23m in the men's shot put.
Anthony Berkis also captured a bronze medal in the 1000m in a time of 2:23.20.
Berkis also had a qualifying time in the mile with a finishing time of 4:02.57. Other qualifiers included
Celine Freeman-Gibb in the women's shot put with a throw of 13.93m, Paul LeMarra in the 1000m (2:25.39),
Matt Walters in the 3000m (8:07.50), and
Paul Janikowski in the 3000m (8:10.20).
At the York Open, Amilia Di Charra qualified for the CIS championships in the 60m with a time of 8.66.
Jackie Anderson also grabbed a gold medal in the triple jump with a leap of 11.31m, while
Andrew Dandie placed first with a jump of 6.84m in the long jump.
