Lancer Hockey hosts four exciting games at home this weekend

The Lancers will host four hockey games over three days
The Windsor Lancers will host four home hockey games this weekend, as the men's and women's hockey teams are each home for a pair of games over the weekend.

The Lancer men kick things off Friday night when the UOIT Ridgebacks come to town. Game time is 7:30pm at Windsor Arena.

Windsor is currently on a two game winning streak and look to earn their third straight against the Ridgebacks who have lost eight of their past ten games.

When the two teams last met in November, the Lancers swept the host Ridgebacks in a pair of games in Oshawa.

The men will then welcome the Brock Badgers to Windsor Arena on Saturday night. The Badgers sit just above the Lancers in the OUA West standings, and have won seven of their last ten games.

The two teams have split the season series to date, and Saturday's winner will hold the edge in a potential tie-breaker in the standings come play-off time.

On the women's side, the Lancers will host their final two regular season games this weekend at South Windsor Arena.

On Saturday, the Lancers will host the Toronto Varsity Blues at 4:10pm. The Blues are just three points ahead of the Lancers in a very tight race in the OUA standings.

Prior to Sunday's game against Ryerson, Windsor will honour their graduating fifth year athletes Manon Davis and captain Candace Rapchak.

Windsor will look to earn two important points against the last place Rams. Game time is also set for 4:10pm at South Windsor Arena.
