The Lancer track & field team captured five gold medals at the Silverston Classic hosted by the University of Michigan this weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Bringing home gold were
Jackie Anderson in the women's triple jump with a leap of 11.26 metres and
Jordan Langridge in the men's 600m with a time of 1:20.68.
Three Lancers took home silver medals in their respective events, including Andrian Slegers in the women's 600m with a time of 1:34.85.
Leonae Nichol placed second in the 200m with a time of 22.66 seconds, while
Arren Young was second in the long jump with a distance of 6.67m.
Jake Pffaf also had a CIS qualifying time of 4.85m in the men's pole vault.
The No. 1 ranked Lancers will defend their OUA provincial titles next weekend at the OUA Championships in Toronto, hosted by York University.
