Ryan Hughes, Head Coach of the Lancer Golf program has announced try-out information for the 2010 fall season.
All interested golfers are encouraged to fill out a recruitment form online prior to try-outs, by
clicking here.
Try-outs for both the Lancer men's and women's teams will open on Saturday, August 28th with a player assessment at the Tecumseh Golf Centre at 11am. Players will be notified that day if they are qualified to attend follow up try-outs.
From there, the opening try-out will take place on Monday, August 30th at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club starting with tee times from 7:30am - 8:30am.
The second day of try-outs will follow on Wednesday, September 1st also at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club with tee times from 9:30am to 10:30am.
The final try-out will be used to help finalize the team, based on coaches decisions and will take place on Thursday, September 2nd at Beach Grove with tee times from 10:30am to 11:30am.
"We are really looking forward to getting started this fall," commented Coach Hughes. "Our goal is to put together a very competitive team that will compete for OUA Provincial championships on an annual basis."
