Lancers lend a hand on McHappy Day

The Lancers lended a hand on McHappy Day
On Wednesday, May 5th, the Windsor Lancers helped McDonald's Restaurants celebrate McHappy Day as Lancer Track & Field assistant head coach Brett Lumley and former Lancer track & field star Jamie Adjetey-Nelson served up sandwiches at a local McDonald's Restaurant.

McHappy Day is an exciting effort used to help raise fund in support of Canadian children in need. This year, one dollar from the sale of every McMuffin sandwich, Happy Meal and Big Mac sandwich was donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario, Transition to Betterness – Paediatric Oncology Satellite Unit and other local children's charities across Canada.

Lumley and Adjetey-Nelson were at the McDonald's Restaurant located at the corner of Huron Church and College Ave on Wednesday May 5th between 2:00-3:00pm.

In addition to Lumley and Adjetey-Nelson, Lancer Fan of the Year, Sammy Uprichard and his parents, Sam and Karrie, lent a hand behind the counter between 5:00-7:00pm at the same location.

The Lancers would like to thank everyone who came out and supported them and this important cause!
