Lancers capture two golds at Silverston Invitational

Danielle Harrison captured gold in the women's 200m
The University of Windsor's track and field team won two gold medals and had two CIS championship qualifying performances Saturday at the Silverston Invitational meet at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
 
Erika Reiser, who earlier this year secured a place at the nationals in pole vault, won a bronze medal with a height of 3.65 metres.
 
Jeff Vukasovic, who qualified earlier this month, earned silver in pole vault with a height of 4.70 metres.
 
Winning gold medals were Noelle Montcalm in the 60-metres (7.62) and Danielle Harrison in the 200-metres (25.47).
 
Other silver medalists included Meghan Morand in the 3000m (10:24.18), Leonae Nichol in the men's 200m (22.52), Dustin Eldridge in the men's 400m (50.27), Camilo Quevedo in the 600m (1:21.31) and Brayan Patten in the men's long jump (6.61m)
 
The Lancers will now travel to the OUA Championships on February 27th & 28th at York University.
