Jessica Clemencon of the Windsor Lancers Women's Basketball team has been named the Pioneer Petroleums OUA Athlete of the Week, as announced today by Ontario University Athletics.

She joins Alan Chung from the Toronto Varsity Blues Water Polo team as male and female winners for the week ending November 28, 2010. The pair will receive a gift card and apparel, courtesy of Pioneer Petroleums.

Clemencon, a native of St. Rambert, France, had two strong games in a pair of victories over the Queen's Gaels and RMC Paladins on the weekend.

The second-year forward turned in a 24 point, 12 rebound performance in the victory over the Gaels on Friday night and finished with 29 points and 9 rebounds in the win over the Paladins on Saturday.

Jessica, who is also last year's CIS Rookie of the Year, is now the OUA's leading scorer at 19.9 points per game for the No. 1 ranked Windsor Lancers.
