Gord Grace, Director of Athletics and Recreational Services at the University of Windsor is pleased to announce the hiring of Dean Collver as the new Facility Manager of the St. Denis Athletic and Community Centre.

The appointment is effective October 12th.

A native of Truro, Nova Scotia, Collver currently serves as the General Manager of the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Complex. In his role there, he oversees all aspects of the sports facility including operations, event hosting, staffing and health and safety regulations.

In addition to his duties with the sports and entertainment complex, he also works as the Director of Business Operations for the Sarnia Sting Jr. A Hockey team. With the Sting, he handles their facility operations, community relations initiatives, corporate partnerships and budgeting activities.

Director of Athletics Gord Grace is pleased to be adding a staff member with Dean's qualifications and experience to the athletic department.

"I'm excited to announce Dean's hiring as the new Facility Manager for the St. Denis Centre," commented Grace. "He brings with him a wealth of experience to this position and we believe he is going to be able to make a major impact on the future operations and activities of our athletic facilities."

A graduate of McMaster University, he and his wife Kelly have two children.

Dean will officially begin in his new role as Facility Manager with the Department of Athletics and Recreaitonal Services on Monday, October 12th.
